Following the launch of Ashington AFC Juniors the club are looking to recruit self-motivated, committed, confident and knowledgeable individuals to coach or volunteer within our youth section. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our club as we look to develop players from grassroots through to our senior teams.

We are looking to recruit for the following roles:

  • Club Welfare Officer
  • Secretary (Junior Section)
  • Assistant Head of Coaching
  • Video Analyst
  • Foundation Phase Lead Coach
  • Youth Development Phase Lead Coach
  • Age group Coaches

N.B. Please be advised that in the first instance these vacancies are voluntary and will be subject to enhanced DBS clearance prior to taking on a role within the club.

In relation to the Assistant Head of Coaching, Foundation Phase Lead and Youth Development Phase Lead candidates will hold a minimum FA Level 2 coaching award along with associated safeguarding and first aid qualifications. A full induction is in place for all new coaches, along with continued professional development support.

Age group Coaches, ideally candidates will hold a minimum FA Level 1 coaching award along with associated safeguarding and first aid qualifications, however this is not essential and the club will support any suitable individual through all necessary courses.
