Doors open to welcome all Doors open to welcome all

Following the launch of Ashington AFC Juniors the club are proud to announce that we will be opening our doors to welcome anyone who wishes to get involved with our club, whether it is as a player, coach or volunteer.

On Saturday 15th June 2019 the club will open the doors of Woodhorn Lane, the home of Ashington AFC and invite any players who wish to wear the Ashington AFC badge which is emblazed on our traditional black and white stripes for season 2019/20 to attend.

The club will strive to offer the opportunity to represent the club to ever player who attends, as we look to provide a full player pathway from U7’s through to our senior men’s 1st team, with new teams being created at U7, U9, U10, U11 and U12’s where required(dependant on player numbers), alongside our current teams at U8, U13, U14, U15, U16, U17, U18’s, senior men’s reserves and senior men’s 1st team that have already been formed for the 2019/20 season.

The day will be led by our 1st Team Manager and Head of Coaching Ian Skinner, supported by coaches from within the club who are all qualified and hold an FA ‘accepted’ DBS. Therefore If you are a player or have a child who is interested in taking their game to the next level and joining a forward thinking and progressive club with an emphasis on quality coaching in a great environment, then please see below the open day schedule, including times and venue:
