Experienced former Sunderland defender who rejoined Ashington in 2016, following spells at the now-defunct Newcastle Blue Star, Ryton & Crawcrook Albion and Consett. Ryan is comfortable playing anywhere across the back or in midfield.
Experienced Irish centre half who returns to Woodhorn Lane following a spell at Sunderland RCA. Wayne played in his native Northern Ireland for Lisburn Distillery, before moving to Australia to join Brisbane Olympic and Gold Coast United before returning to the UK to play for Gateshead, before captaining Blyth Spartans. Wayne has also played for our neighbours, Morpeth Town.
Another player who returns to Ashington from Morpeth Town. A skilful winger, Lee played in the final match at Portland Park before he left for Dunston UTS where he played at Wembley in their 2012 FA Vase success and made 175 appearances in total for them.
Solid and experienced defender who signed from Shildon in October 2013, Ben is a reliable player who attackers find difficult to get the better of. Can play anywhere across the back and is a real leader in the team.
Classy and composed midfielder who is very comfortable on the ball and can pick out a deadly pass. Joined Ashington from Whitley Bay in the middle of the 2013-14 season, and has become a fan favourite. Won both the manager and fans Player of the Year awards for his performances during the 2014-15 season.
